NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) new skipper Faf du Plessis’ good start to the IPL 2022 season with the bat has put him on top of the Orange Cap standings in the early stages of the competition with 93 runs in two matches.
The right-handed South African batsman scored 88 in RCB’s first match of the season that perched him on top of the list.
On the bowling front as well it’s an RCB player at the top, with Wanindu Hasaranga’s four-wicket haul against Kolkata Knight Riders giving him a total tally of five wickets in two matches.
